Origami Inflatable Bunny

Here’s a cute little something for a Sunday afternoon if you want to do something productive.

In case you didn’t guess from the title, it’s an origami inflatable bunny.

Enjoy.

Gmail, not such a bad idea.

I’ve been using Hotmail from since I can remember, but Gmail, after Hotmail’s facelift, I think, looks better, and if your one for getting a fair bit of spam, Gmail may be the choice for you.

There are a few things that Gmail offers, which you may not know about even if you have a Gmail account.

Firstly, if you have an email address, let say ‘thecheesegrater@gmail.com’ you can also use the beggining bit, then the ‘+’ symbol and anything you want, so if your signing up to various websites you can submit your email as ‘thecheesegrater+variouswebsite@gmail.com’ and it will still work, the best part is that if you find yourself getting spam delivered to that email (as it will say on the email) you can just filter them out.

Another nifty thing about Gmail is that when you sign up you will get a ‘…@Gmail.com’ and ‘…@googlemail.com’ so again, you can use one to give out to friends and family, and the other to sign up to various websites and if you find yourself getting spam, just filter it out. Easy Peasy.

You can sign up for your very own Gmail account here.

Making Snow (Tutorial)

This is a carry on from the “How To Xmatize Your Logo”, just a quick tutorial to show you how to create the effect of snow over an image/logo.

So, make a new layer on the top of the other layers and fill it with Black (#000000).
Then make some fuzz by going: Filter>Noise>Add Noise… and applying these settings:

How to Xmatize your logo (Tutorial)

I will start writing up tutorials on all the different things I do to my logo as I modify them to match the season, ie. Halloween style, Xmas style and whatever else I do.

Ok so, create a new document in Photoshop, whatever size you want it and fill the background with a dark colour (so you can see the snow better).
You may want to make a box of colour a bit smaller than your box and use the Gaussian Blur by selecting your layer and going    Filter>Blur>Gaussian Blur… and making the blur about 2.0 like I did. Then use the Type tool to type your text.

Falling George Bush

This has been done many, many times, but I found myself hypnotised to it for like 10 mins.

<tip>If you grab his hand or head it’s really easy to split his body in half through two touching bubbles</tip>

Very useful information. Here is the site.

Jerry Jackson Animation

OMFG So funny, it’s so badly drawn, a load of misspellings, bad language and minor racism, but it’s just funny, I got it linked to me by a mate, I wasn’t sure what to make of it at first but I was laughing, it’s so immature and rubbish, but that’s what makes it so brilliant so be sure to check out the others on YouTube.

This episode is called MY MATES, by Jerry Jackson.

Also, the Mario parody – Funny.

Steve Jobs vs. Bill Gates (and part music video)

I’m am a Mac user, you can probably tell from my previous posts. I don’t have any problems with PC’s or PC users, I mean I suppose I can see why people like viruses and a window that pops up asking permission about every possible action. But that aside, I watched this video where Jobs and Gates battle it out till the death of a computer! It’s quite old but still pretty funny.

<fave_quote> iPhone, BITCH! </fave_quote>

Enjoy.
