Allow me to introduce one of the most awesome men to appear in Cannes Film Festival, Jacques D’Azur. Now I know what you’re already thinking and no, the photo above wasn’t set up. That’s just a normal day in the life of Jacques D’Azur.

Everyone knows Chuck Norris and how he can kill ants with a magnifying glass… at night!

But it’s not all about the violence with Jacques D’Azur. Instead of roundhouse kicking people in the face Jacques prefers to play tennis. He’s so good that I remember him losing just once, that was only because he didn’t turn up, and it was still a very close match.

It’s about time we have an art’s orientated role model as opposed to more kick-ass fight moves orientated role model.

Chuck Norris talks with his feet (at speeds of up to 300mph… around your face) whereas Jacques D’Azur communicates by not only being awesome, but through the arts; more precisely… film. Yes ladies, I know there’s probably not a dry seat in the house right now but keep calm and keep your distance as he was born in 1939 so unless you’re looking like a dishevelled scrotum, you’re probably too young, unless you fancy yourself a bit of a miner. However, that’s not to say there isn’t any more Jacques D’Azur types of guys out there and his legacy will definitely live on for the ages, after all, Jacques never sat in the best seat in the theatre, the best seat was always the one next to his.

Just one more thing. Apparently, he’s gone AWOL like the bad ass mofo he is somewhere in the South Coast of France on his yacht! Pretty crazy stuff, anyway, here’s his Facebook page so if you wanna check it out that’ll be just dandy!
